Originally from the Midwest I now reside in South West Florida with a long time boyfriend, four cats and a dog. I’m a procrastinator, a sewist, a lampworker, a dabbler, a reader, a baker and an over planner.
I’ve been blogging seriously since August 9th 2004 and this makes blog number three. I currently have an Esty shop called Stash Bustin, a flickr site and have participated in NaBloPoMo (profile)and 100 Words (entries). I can occasionally be found on FriendFeed and Facebook and if I’m feeling really flamboyant on YouTube.
The Cast
D - Boyfriend of ten years, artist, reader, inventor and not allowed to cook anything other than frozen pizza. He loves a bad pun, hot sauce and me.
Duncan - Our newest, youngest, and wildest kid. After loosing our best girl Mackenzie in February ’09 we adopted Duncan Doolittle from a family who ‘didn’t know he’d get so big’. He’s stubborn, has the attention span of a gnat, insists on stealing my spot on the bed and we are completely smitten.
Daniel- Not much on being held, but loves to annoy you with head-butts and kneading. He’s an escape artist and will not hesitate to scoot out when the front door is opened for the dog. Considers himself the greatest of hunters and does and impressive chicken impersonation when he sees a bird.
Libby – A real sweetie but lies compulsively about having never been fed or loved in any way. She’s very shy with strangers unless you smoke. If you do you are likely to find her standing in your lap sharing your cigarette.
Leona - AKA Leona the mouth. She never shuts up and is generally everywhere you don’t want her to be. If I need my cutting table she’s on it, when I’m ready for the ironing board shes there and when I’m done she can be found in my chair. The house rings with “D! Come get your cat!!!”
Lenny -He can normally be found on the bed or under it with the dust buffalo. He drools when he’s happy…copious amounts of drool. Accomplished napper and cat yoga enthusiast.
